The Process of Organic Growth
A short, open to all course on how healthy organic growth develops, followed by a video on how to bring your offer fully to life.
Alexander Eastman
Alexander is a creative director, writer, musician and storyteller whose work explores the intersection of creativity, human nature and culture.
Across nearly two decades of entrepreneurship, community building, personal development and the arts, he has developed a particular interest in what becomes possible when we pay closer attention to what is already there. His work moves between writing, photography, film, music and creative strategy, often beginning with observation and allowing the underlying story to reveal itself.
Whether working with an organisation, a community or his own creative practice, Alexander is interested in finding what is distinctive and alive, and helping it find a clear, authentic and beautiful expression.
“My intention is to simply shed light on the truth and beauty that is already present, and make sure it’s well framed and communicated.”
True North Compass
Creative Direction FrameworkTaught to thousands of students, delivered in workshops all over the world and implemented in businesses of all sizes.
Discovering what is at the heart of your offering, creating clear direction, and bringing it to life.

Alexander facilitated the True North Compass with director Endre Kvia, giving him clarity on the film's creative direction before production began. He then stayed on through storyline consultation and a documentary interview woven into the final cut.

Before TJ Power started writing, Alexander facilitated the True North Compass process with him to establish his creative direction and the framework the book would be written through. He then stayed on as a creative sounding board and mentor throughout.

Founder Sam Ryan used the True North Compass to identify and articulate Great Spirit's creative direction in its early days. Alexander has continued writing for the brand's journal ever since.
Stuart Ross brought the True North Compass in to define the principles behind Launch You, and Alexander helped shape the company’s white paper from there. He now delivers creative direction training to Launch You’s global community of entrepreneurs.
Alexander helped Miri discover and articulate her personal brand, then carried that through as narrative and creative director on the short film itself.
As co-founder and creative director, Alexander has used the True North Compass to guide Victoria’s Promise for over 13 years — work that has supported hundreds of women through cancer.

Community Director, Great Spirit — long-form essays written for their journal, on attention, embodiment and natural intelligence.
Purpose isn't a task to complete — it's what happens when something is allowed to fully express its own nature.
On ritual, plant medicine, and why unmarked transitions rarely get truly integrated.
A case for keeping tools in service of a purpose, rather than the other way around.
A hibiscus, a single day, and what it means to love something you can't keep.
Why intellect makes a brilliant servant and a dangerous master.
In a world of machine replication, uniqueness — and human craft — becomes precious again.
